Special Exposure Wednesday - Story Art

Yesterday's Story Art story was Mouse Paint.

Prior to visiting the art studio, we read the book at home and Frog mixed Blue and Yellow food coloring in his bath water to make a green bath.

Frog was the only one to show up for Story Art this week so he got Ms. Rosalyn all to himself.

He also got to share the story with his new Para Educator.

After the story he painted his own mouse.

We'll post mouse's picture next week after he is glazed and fired :0)

Thanks for stopping by my blog last week! Frog is quite cute and how fun to have a green bath! We'll have to try that. It didn't turn him green? LOL.

Days like this day where he got story art all to himself are so special.

Hi Golightly,

You're welcome and thanks for the return visit. The food coloring was fun. We made purple water first, then let the water out and started over to make green. I ended up taking a cold shower when he was finished! The water did not turn him green, but he did grab the food color bottle and had a blue tint to his hand and face today. Story art is great and we love Ms. Ros - she rocks!

What fun! It sounds like he had a great day! We've never tried the food coloring in the bath. I'll keep that in mind for the next time Daniel refuses to take one!

How creative. A green bath! I never knew you could do that without leaving your body colored. Can't wait to see his mouse.
